New things about living in Alabama
When we first moved down here many of our neighbors had piles of stuff out by the road. We thought, "what in
the heck are they going to do with that stuff?" but we learned that they have monthly service that comes around
and picks up whatever you pile out there. So we started piling!
The produce that is so good and so fresh and so cheap! Ok, we have been in
Alaska for a very long time and have missed all the fresh produce and fruits that
appear to other people all the time.
We have really missed that! We have been over loading on fresh fruit.
We got blackberries fresh from the field, cantolope that are so sweet, local
seedless grapes that are awsesome. Cantalopes, 3 for a dollar!
Yes, yes, yes! Look at the size of the ones that were going for 3 dollars, they were
as big as the watermelon in the other bin.
